Bringing Joy, Nature and Personality into Healing Spaces

A few months ago, we shared a glimpse into a project for one of our clients with complex needs which had started on site—a young person whose love of Minnie Mouse brought so much personality to the brief. We’re now excited to share another chapter in that journey.

Working closely with Samina Rutrecht and Paul Kimberley at Rutrecht + Kimberley, a brilliant Landscape Design company, we’ve helped bring to life a beautiful sensory garden tailored entirely to our clients interests, needs and daily experiences.

The garden wraps around their bedroom, therapy room and hydrotherapy pool, offering a constant connection to nature and calm. It includes:

* Sensory planting designed to stimulate touch, smell and sight
* A water feature for soothing sounds and visual movement
* A raised garden area so they can enjoy gardening at wheelchair height
* Thoughtful touches that reflect their love of Minnie Mouse

It’s a wonderful example of how design can be both functional and full of personality. We’re incredibly proud to be part of a team delivering spaces that enrich lives in such meaningful ways.

We will let the images speak for themselves!
