This project is a testament to innovation, determination, and problem-solving as we worked with our client to bring this vision to life.
The scheme includes the following:
– EV Charging Station with a “solar roof”: Fast, reliable charging to support the growing number of electric vehicles on our roads.
– Cafe & Waiting Area: A modern, comfortable space for travellers to relax and recharge.
– Large Solar Farm with Battery Storage: Ensuring clean, sustainable power with reliable energy storage.
The journey to planning approval wasn’t without its challenges. A high-pressure gas main running through the site required careful coordination to ensure safety and feasibility. We also worked closely with planners to address traffic generation concerns.
