We’re excited to share a glimpse of our latest design—an innovative home set within the countryside, conceived to meet the rigorous requirements of Paragraph 84(e) of the NPPF. To gain approval, we must demonstrate that the design is truly outstanding, achieving the highest standards of architecture, enhancing its setting, and raising the bar for rural design.
Our approach blends natural forms, sustainability, and a deep connection to place. The home is designed to harmonise with the rolling landscape, tracking the sun’s energy throughout the day. Given the local prevalence of thatched properties, we’ve incorporated thatch into sections of the walls—not only as a nod to the vernacular but also to support the craft of traditional thatching.
