It isn’t often that as architects we are publicly praised by a conservation officer.
We would therefore like to thank Chris Partrick at East Cambridgeshire District Council for making our month for writing the following comment on our scheme in Ely :-
“Despite its modest scale, this is an inventive, carefully considered scheme which demonstrates that creative contemporary approaches are entirely compatible with historic buildings. It fully accords with the objectives of Advice Note 2. Its presentation is also exemplary, and the excellent 3D CAD modelling should be specially commended.”
Planning permission was secured yesterday and we now look forward to progressing the working drawings!
