We’re delighted to share that we’ve secured full planning permission for a development of 9 affordable homes and 6 open market dwellings on an infill site in Huntingdonshire.
This project presented a challenge—balancing the priorities of the Urban Design Officer and Lead Local Flood Authority—but we thrive on collaboration to achieve the best results for our clients.
Through pre-application discussions with the Urban Design Team, we refined the layout to focus on placemaking, accessibility, and high-quality public open spaces. Key design considerations that shaped the site layout included:
✔️ Retaining the existing hedgerow along the main road.
✔️ Integrating a large surface water attenuation pond.
