We’re pleased to share that planning permission has now been secured for the proposed extension to Little Thetford Village Hall.
Since our public consultation last year, the scheme has evolved through a constructive process with East Cambridgeshire District Council, with a number of thoughtful refinements helping to bring the project forward to approval.
The design continues to centre around a new café, village shop and improved community spaces, all organised around a clear and welcoming entrance that better connects the different parts of the building.
With planning now in place, the focus turns to the next stage — fundraising — to help bring the project to life and deliver a building that can continue to serve the village for many years to come.
The project team will be sharing the approved scheme with the community at tomorrow’s event at the hall and outlining the next steps.
